On October 28, the first production line of the 20,000-ton-per-year high-performance rare-earth magnetic material project at Baotou Huahong New Material Technology Co., Ltd., part of Huahong Technology's magnetic materials division, officially commenced operations. As a key milestone in the company's strategic expansion into the northern region, the launch of this first production line marks the formal entry of our Baotou base into a new phase of production and operations.

Establish a foothold in Baotou to drive coordinated development across the north and south.

      The total planned investment for the project is 700 million yuan, covering a site area of 138 mu; the project plans to construct five standardized factory buildings, along with office buildings, dormitory buildings, and other supporting facilities.

      The project fully leverages Baotou's uniquely advantageous rare-earth resource advantages, adheres to on-site supporting facilities, near-site industrial chain extension, and collaborative empowerment, and effectively promotes the deep integration and coordinated advancement of the upstream and downstream rare-earth magnetic material industry chain. Once the project reaches full production capacity, the Baotou base will become the company's largest production base for magnetic materials, establishing a new industrial framework with the southern base characterized by "north–south coordination, complementary strengths, and bidirectional empowerment."

      The commissioning of this project marks a significant starting point for Huahong Technology in refining its national industrial layout and deepening its presence in the northern rare-earth market; it also represents the company's proactive response to Baotou's pragmatic initiative to build a "1144" modern industrial system and promote the full-element utilization, full-category development, and full-chain extension of rare-earth resources. Going forward, Huahong Technology will continue to contribute its expertise to optimizing the structure of the rare-earth industry, addressing weaknesses in the industrial chain, and enhancing the overall capacity and core competitiveness of Baotou's rare-earth industry.
